This college runs two NSS units. Any student of this college may join NSS Unit as a volunteer. On completion of a stipulated period of service, the volunteers are awarded certificates by Kazi Nazrul University. The certificate in Social Service may be helpful to students, in various ways regarding their Career Vista in future. The college offers various facilities to students regarding games and sports. Annual competitions and sports are regularly held, in which, students can display their talents in different sports and games. Besides, there is a cultural wing. This division regularly holds different cultural functions and competitions.
The Two NSS units of AGC Spread literary awareness under New India Literary Program. Undertook welfare activities for under–privileged children under National Nutrition Mission. In 2019 NSS unit of AGC organized a rally on Awareness to Exercise Voting Rights. To imbibe selflessness and readiness to serve the community NSS organized Prantik Old Age Home visit in 2020.
Many students and NSS clean the campus. AGC has a sprawling green lawn with maximum tree coverage. On various occasions tree plantation programmes conducted by the departments and alumni and occasionally in collaboration with the Pachim Banga Vigyan Mancha.
